Enlisted in the Navy for 4 years as a submarine electrician, got picked up by OCS and spent 16 years as an officer on various ships and stations. My favorite time was as the Budget Officer for a Portuguese admiral in Lisbon Portugal for 2 1/2 years (NATO job). Retired from the Navy after having moved 13 times in 20 years during which my long suffering wonderful wife Sherry never left me.

eau of Reclamation manages water for agriculture and hydropower in the American West. Highlights in my Bureau career were managing a federal irrigation project in eastern Oregon for 6 1/2 years, followed by managing three small hydroelectric plants in support of agricultural irrigation for 5 years (I can gladly bore anyone with how that worked, if interested) by the time I re-retired in April 2022.
Currently Sherry and I live in Kennewick WA. We have a son, Craig in Janesville MN, and a daughter Cindy in Phoenix AZ.
